PU Roof Insulation (Over & Under Deck): Professional Thermal Protection & Energy Efficiency
Maximum energy savings and long-term roof protection
An uninsulated roof — whether corrugated GI sheet, concrete, or timber — is usually the biggest source of heat gain and energy loss in a building. Solar heat bakes the exterior, raises indoor temperatures, and forces cooling systems to work harder than necessary.
Our specialized PU Roof Insulation System creates a continuous closed-cell polyurethane layer that blocks thermal bridging, significantly lowers indoor temperatures, and protects the roof structure for decades. It can be applied either over-deck (on top of the roof) or under-deck (from the inside), depending on the building and conditions.
Dual Application Options
Option A: Over-Deck Application (Exterior)
The foam is sprayed directly onto the top side of the roof sheet or concrete slab.
- Stops solar heat before it enters the building
- Creates a fully seamless waterproof membrane that covers seams, overlaps, and screw penetrations
- Finished with a UV-resistant, solar-reflective elastomeric topcoat for long-term protection
Option B: Under-Deck Application (Interior)
The foam is sprayed onto the underside of the roof deck between trusses or rafters.
- Can be applied regardless of weather conditions
- Completely seals gaps, overlaps, and hard-to-reach voids
- Reduces rain noise on metal roofs and helps prevent interior condensation
The 3-Step Process
1. Surface Preparation & Inspection
The substrate (above or below the deck) is thoroughly cleaned. We inspect all joints, fasteners, and connections to ensure a clean, dry surface for optimal adhesion.
2. High-Pressure 2K PU Foam Application
Using professional high-pressure equipment, closed-cell polyurethane foam is sprayed in controlled layers. The material expands instantly into a dense, rigid insulation layer.
- Delivers one of the highest R-values per inch of any commercial insulation
- Adds structural rigidity to light metal sheeting without significant extra weight
- Forms a continuous, seamless thermal and air barrier
3. Protective Finishing
For over-deck installations, a heavy-duty UV-reflective elastomeric topcoat is applied. For under-deck applications, the foam can be left exposed or finished according to aesthetic and fire-safety requirements.

Leading manufacturers offer warranties of up to 20 years on properly applied closed-cell systems. Our team carefully controls mixing ratios, environmental conditions, and spray thickness to ensure consistent quality and long-term performance.
