PU Polyurea Pool Repair & Waterproofing: Extreme Longevity & Seamless Protection
Permanent sealing and structural restoration
A cracked, leaking, or degraded swimming pool — whether concrete, tile, or fiberglass — leads to constant water loss, chemical imbalance, and high maintenance costs. Traditional pool paints, epoxy coatings, and liner systems often blister, crack, or peel under UV exposure and chemical stress.
Our specialized Polyurea Pool Repair & Waterproofing System restores, seals, and reinforces both commercial and residential pools. Applied with professional high-pressure 2K hot-spray technology, the polyurea membrane forms a continuous, highly elastic, and fully watertight shield that protects the pool for decades.
The 3-Step Process
1. Substrate Preparation & Crack Injection
The pool is drained and thoroughly cleaned. The surface is prepared by diamond grinding or abrasive blasting to remove old coatings, algae, and loose material. Cracks, cold joints, and damaged areas are opened and injected or filled with high-strength epoxy or polyurethane repair materials to restore structural integrity.
2. High-Adhesion 2K Primer
A moisture-tolerant 2K epoxy/PU primer is applied across the entire surface.
- Penetrates deep into concrete pores and micro-fissures
- Creates a strong chemical and mechanical bond that prevents future delamination
- Helps lock out hydrostatic pressure
3. Seamless 2K Hot-Spray Polyurea Membrane
Using high-pressure, high-temperature spray equipment, a 100 % solids polyurea membrane is applied at the specified thickness. The material cures within seconds into a seamless, rubber-like lining.
- High elasticity bridges structural cracks and accommodates ground movement and thermal expansion
- Excellent resistance to chlorine, salt water, chemicals, and UV exposure
- Smooth, joint-free surface that reduces algae and bacteria buildup
Performance & Warranty
Leading manufacturers offer warranties of up to 20 years when the system is applied correctly. Polyurea does not chalk, become brittle, or degrade under normal pool conditions.
Our technicians carefully control spray temperature (typically 60–70 °C), pressure (200+ bar), dew point, and dry-film thickness to ensure a consistent, monolithic seal.
